Lowbeds sized to the machine, not the other way round
Low Beds are a horse/trailer combination used to move earthmoving equipment between sites. Various sizes of low beds are available depending on the weight and/or the dimensions of the equipment to be moved. Today there are a variety of different models to choose from.

What makes a load abnormal
A load is abnormal once it passes the legal limits. For a goods vehicle of 12 tons or more, those limits are 4.3 metres high and 2.6 metres wide. On length, a rigid truck may not pass 12.5 metres, and a truck with a semi-trailer may not pass 18.5 metres, load included. On weight, the limit runs by axle group, up to 24 tons on a group of three axles, and the rating the maker gives the vehicle may never be exceeded.
Anything past those limits is an abnormal load, and it needs the right trailer, the right permits and a driver who has done it before. That is the work we do.
Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town
This is offered for the safe and efficient relocation of plant and equipment from Johannesburg Gauteng to any destination in South Africa.

These items are often too large, heavy, or cumbersome to be transported on regular trucks.
Different types of lowbed trailers are used to transport different loads.
Examples of abnormal loads include:
- Construction equipment
- Pre-built or E-Homes
- Containers
- Mining equipment
- Industrial equipment
- Military equipment
- Railway equipment
- Etc.
